The name change was officially made in 1973 after reverting to Islam.
1st. Vice President of the NECAA. from 2018.

I attended the Cumana R.C. Elementary school, TOCO where I was successful in my first attempt at the Common Entrance Exam. I started at Northeastern just after turning 12, in January of 1963. My love for the game of cricket led me to play for the Senior team while in Form 3. I was selected as Captain of the Football team by the then Sports Master, Mr. Hamil Murray. In 1968, I was allowed to repeat GCE ‘O’ Level to achieve a full Certificate. My first job was at the Trinidad Express Newspapers, in the Production Department.
That was in late ‘69. I left the Express 8 years later. At the time, I was a Supervisor overseeing the Proofreading, Compugraphic and Page Mechanics Departments. I went on to IMPRINT CARIBBEAN, which published People and You magazines monthly.

Five years later, I resigned from my position as Sub-Editor. After securing a visa to the US in the ‘80’s I entered what was referred to as the Suitcase trade. Dealing mainly in clothing, I selected Tobago as my place of operation. I opened my first store in 1989. I later expanded to include home goods and many other products. At present, I share homes between Lambeau in Tobago and my hometown, Cumana. Almighty ALLAAH has been really good to me in so many ways. So, I take the opportunity to help my school in whatever way possible.
